Position Summary:  Reports to the VP of Chemistry and works closely with scientific leadership of other disciplines with a strong emphasis on expertise in synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and PDM.  The Associate Fellow is responsible for setting strategy within the discipline and participating on the team with executive leadership to establish and execute on short and long-term company goals.  Additionally, this position will effectively mentor and set direction of scientific staff, development of junior and senior scientists and effective resourcing of projects with a broad portfolio view.  As a recognized scientific expert in Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Development, lead projects and teams guiding the expansion of research directions in line with projected industry direction.

Position Summary:  The Clinical Research Intern is responsible for learning the basics of a clinical research trial. The goal of this program is to introduce students to the concepts of, the lifecycle of, and the execution of clinical trials in medicine.   Approximately 10-20 hours per week, on a steady basis for 6-12 months. Position Summary:  The Associate Scientist will carry out in vitro biological, cell biology, medicinal chemistry or biochemistry laboratory experiments under the supervision of a senior scientist with the goal of advancing internal and/or contract drug discovery projects.  Other responsibilities may include administrative duties commensurate with efficient, effective and safe laboratory operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations -   Carry out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses - Prepare specimens and samples - Carry out chemical reactions/separations and determine chemical structures using analytical techniques - Maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment, for example centrifuges, liquid dispensers, plate readers and pH meters; - Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced - Record and sometimes interpret results to present to senior colleagues - Use computers (Word/PowerPoint/Excel/GraFit) and perform mathematical calculations for the preparation of graphs - Follow strict safety procedures and safety checks.
