  • Overview

    Region Sales Managers are responsible for the daily supervision of one geographical region, including coaching for improved performance and monitoring the sales activity within the region. The RSM will be accountable for a group of Sales Account Specialists who make product presentations, cultivate relationships, and influence all aspects of Alcaris product pull through within Key Accounts including: product marketing, product utilization and generating dollar sales


    • Conduct field observations with each Sales Account Specialists calling on assigned Dermatology and Aesthetic Accounts
    • Coach Sales Account Specialists to make effective sales presentations, achieve sales goals and develop relationships with key account contacts by offering examples that improve performance
    • Evaluate and communicate data analytics information to ensure maximum sales impact on key dermatology customers and account stakeholders
    • Implement and manage incentive programs as a motivating factor for Sales Account Specialists
    • Plan and conduct effective sales meetings in line with Company compliance policies and regional expectations
    • Collaborate and communicate with Marketing, Training, Strategic Accounts, Professional Relations, Trade, and Sales Operations on all needs, opportunities, and pull-through initiatives
    • Optimal management of region expense budget and resources to ensure ROI
    • Demonstrate honesty and integrity while modeling behaviors consistent with company standards and policies for business and compliance related matters 


    • Bachelor’s degree, MBA-preferred
    • At least 10 years of proven sales management experience, or demonstrated equivalent experience. Dermatology experience required
    • Previous experience in aesthetic or dermatology pharmaceutical training, marketing, and sales management
    • Demonstration of sustained, high performance in current position and strong aptitude for learning
    • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal constituencies, such as Marketing, Training, Trade, and Sales Operations to achieve corporate objectives
    • High sense of urgency and customer service orientation
    • Strong business acumen and ability to understand market opportunities
    • Strong knowledge of the aesthetic and dermatology business with assigned accounts is preferred
    • 75% travel required
    • Ability to thrive in a highly driven culture that is performance based, fast paced, and results oriented
    • Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and a commitment to compliance
    • Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
